The Rep of Costa Rica considered [..] that the autonomy initiative [..] constitutes "the most appropriate, serious, credible and realistic basis for reaching a political solution", stating that "autonomy under Moroccan sovereignty could be the most feasible solution for the settlement" of the regional dispute over the Moroccan Sahara
